From Kyiv to the Hertie School: Maria Mamedbekova had her professional path rerouted to Berlin when Russia invaded Ukraine. In addition to completing a Master of Public Policy, she has been supporting Professor Alina Mungiu-Pippidi in teaching the class "Diagnosing Crony Capitalism and Kleptocracy".
