Senators should be able to vote by proxy. The Fore Fathers would have agreed it’s more important for the people.

Maybe it's time we dispense with this process. IT's all for free television time, anyway. There is no independence in the GOP, they're going to vote as a block every single time, so why keep up the pretense?

So the only times that there has been split votes by the Senate judiciary committee in the nation's history has been when black people have been nominated for the court? Tell you everything you need to know about racism in America. Thurgood Marshall received most bipartisan support in 1967. It looks like respect for black people is getting worse over the years instead of better.

How about a "common sense test" for all judges?

Now, what's going on with the supreme court nominated. I don't understand what going on with the republican? I just don't understand why we have to go through this again.

I just don't understand at this point why any republican can support any republican candidate. There is just too much evidence that none of them care about any of them.

there are several well educated black jurists who could do a great job on the court. Jackson is not one of them.

I watched a lot of the Judiciary hearings and some of the house ones and I was absolutely disgusted with the deceptive and dishonest republican attacks on her. There's just no shame with them.

They had no problem with alcoholic nominees that sounded like the hearing was happening at midnight. She's not a sexual predator, actually goes to church, doesn't drink, or participate at orgies where the uncut pure cocaine comes straight from Colombia. Merit has no value these days. No law can stop them in the quest to overthrow the country.
