Tropic is actually one of my most used ND palettes strictly because of the mattes. I love the shades and I combine them with my more stand-out metallics and my multichrome singles.

I had the mi vida loca and while I LOVED it, I stopped using it because of the controversy. I just didnt want to support her on my channel. It was unique at the time but I think i lot of brands have caught up now though.
The swatches of that CT quad look amazing, now I want it lol
