Whether you're using an HDD, SSD, or a little bit of both, it's important to know how to check the health status of your hard drives in Windows 10. Remember, if your PC breaks down but your hard drive is intact, then your data is safe. Otherwise? Well, you may have problems.

Here are our favourite ways to check your hard drive health for errors, bad sectors and other issues on Windows 10:

1:08 Use the Window CHKDSK tool
2:06 Use the WMIC
2:59 Use the manufacturer's tools
3:53 Use a third-party tool like CrystalDiskInfo

Just a question.. I have 3 drives, whenever I do the Run command and put in CMD, it shows me boot drive, which is my C drive. I want it to scan my E: drive. how do I do that?
