Today we are checking out the 2022 Salem Grand Villa 42FK by Forest River. This is a destination trailer that is well appointed and has some features that are not your typical RV style. Nice clean look and lots of room.

Wish Cali had affordable long term rv lots to park. Would have to move out of state before thinking on doing this and would most likely just buy a small lot at that point. Loved the vid!

Does this 42FK have extreme insulation package, Plus the total bottom/underside have enclosure to keep heat in?

Why do the manufacturers put the door where washer and dryer is next to bed where it won't open. Should put door behind the bedroom door so it will open fully or put a pocket door on it.

Is there any way to get this model reversed? So that the drop frame (loft) is in the front, kitchen in the rear? I'd be very interested!
I have a 37fll right now with the drop in the rear. It limits you tremendously on departure angle, leaving gas stations, large dips in the rd...ect.

I have some questions but not about the trailer. I see you are probably in Florida. What part and if I was looking to move to RV trailer park for full time year round how much is it per month? I know each place is different on pricing.

Not much room to do washer dryer should be slider or something

All I see is that designers are not users. What happens when you have to replace or maintenance that washer/dryer? And how are you supposed to load it? These designers need to be living in their own design along with their families to finally see how bad they really are.
