this might be the best version of this song I've ever heard. even with the microphone not quite handling the climax of the song, the emotion still came across in a way that showed that this choir *really* understood what the song was about. Very few groups can pull that off. Wonderfully done.

This might be the most beautiful version of the most beautiful piece of choral music ever written. Tribute to Michael Barrett, Tuks Camerata --- and not least, the Xhosa people.

I cry every single time I listen to this. It’s hauntingly beautiful. I’m not religious but it makes me feel connected to everything. Bravo.

Edit: There’s such serenity in submitting to the divine for a few minutes and feeling every cell in your body buzz with aliveness. This song will always be a gateway for me.

first time hearing this song, i've been listening to it the whole day. All praises to our Father God for imparting such melodies/songs for us to listen to. Big up to the composers, the unity behind this song regardless of our colour, situation. The love, oh our Father in heaven is pleased by such diversity combining into oneness (unity). unity pleases our Lord.

For those who don't know the importance of the hand raising is it represents the nails on jesus hands as he ascends into heaven.
