Nikon 16mm fisheye lens

16mm F2.8 Fisheye lens, it's a fullframe lens means that the image fills the entire frame of the camera. I'm use it in combination with nikon D700 Fx camera and it gives me the max resolution of 8900x4400 pixels.

I have the AIS version of this lens and it is just superb. It has the better metal lens hood rather than the cheaper plastic one that does not stay on very securely. Autofocus on a lens like this is ludicrous. If this one is like the AIS lens, you need to have the L37 or one of the other filters installed on the rear or it will not focus to infinity. Of course, depth of field is so huge, it really is a moot point at f/4 and smaller

Yes it gives me 39 Mpix. But I'm talking about Equirectangular Panorama made from 8 images, not about single photo.

what do you mean when you say it gives you max resolution of 8900x4400 pixels? Isn't that approx. 39 megapixels.
