Tina Kotek sworn in as Oregon’s 39th governor

Oregon Gov.-elect Tina Kotek will be sworn in as the state’s next governor at the Oregon Capitol on Monday afternoon.

Kotek, a Democrat, will give her inaugural address after being sworn in during a joint session of the Oregon Legislature in the House chamber at 1 p.m. Kotek spent nine years as speaker of the Oregon House before running for governor.
