FACTS FACTS AND FACTS. Even tho her whistles were higher during Emotions era, they were more consistent during daydream era. I mean, in 1992, out of 10 performances I can think of, on 7 she either cracked or cut the whistle short 💀

Okay, but if it weren't for emotions era, daydream wouldn't slay emotions whistles. I love both and emotions era was the pioneer for daydream whistles during the song emotions

The Emotions era was very inconsistent. Actually, except Daydream, all her eras are pretty much hit or miss.

Disrespect aside, we all know the only fault in Daydream's whistles is the fact that they had fallen out of use. What is more, the ones from the most prominent performance from this era (Tokyo Dome) were unusually unstable. Every other instance was great, Tokyo Dome undubbed had great whistles. Frankfurt's were incredible. And the whistles on the album are very good too, I nearly melt when I listen to the Daydream Interlude! This era had very good, although limited, high notes.
With regard to me... I had better days.

I don't think they're better, i just think the way Mariah was using her mounth in the "HIGHH", was wrong. She would do a weird sound right after. But as i always say: "DAYDREAM WHISTLES ARE BOT BAD, SHE JUST WOULD NOT DO THEM AS MUCH AS THE OTHER ERAD

I wouldn't say her whistles were better in the Daydream Era. They were good but they were barely used. She was more focused on her belting.

Nah her whistles were just polyphonic a lot of the time in emotions era… which she can’t control because it just happens.
