In my area muslims have collected 1 million Indian rupees to celebrate maulid un nabi ! I wish they would have given this amount to those who are in need 😢

Bidah is so common now a days, I’m a revert, but my many of my Muslim raised friends do Bidah or even Shirk as well, swearing on other things or celebrating this

In my community in india, they collect a fixed amt per person in the house before mawlid from all families who can and willing to do so . they make biriyani at the masjid on mawlid and send food to all the families, for those who paid and those who didn't.

I wish people would understand this. Now a day's new form of shrink has been started may Allah save us from shirk as he clearly said I will not forgive those who do shirk or perform shirk

It is not a sin to celebrate the prophet's birthday, but if the prophet and his companions didn't celebrate, then why are we inventing new practices? This type of behavior actually leads to sects and shirk. The people of Nuh (a.s) before Nuh (a.s) did not worship statues when they were first made, but generation after generation, they began worshiping them like absolute blind followers. This did not change even after 950 years of dawah by Prophet Nuh (a.s). We all know that the concept of the Trinity started little by little in the first 300 years.

Bruh, even major traditional scholars have said that both opinions are correct. I have no idea why we're focusing on this minor issue, heck it's not even an issue, while we are facing bigger problems. May God guide us all. Ameen.
