yah I did virtual scrolling using Famo.us and its amazing. There is zero jank and it does infinite scroll. The idea is you preallocate your tiles and just swap position up and down ahead of where you will be going. You use background images rather than img tags as well.works great on iphone and android (crosswalk wrapper) using cordova.
