After playing War Thunder for years, you have to start challenging yourself in unique ways. Someone asked if I could use a tank with a dozer blade to only engage targets from trenches. I thought the Strv 103 would be perfect for that.

Attempt 52 Challenge: For high tier support a nations MBT with its respective APC/IFV counterpart (ie Abrams/Bradley, T90/BMP2M, etc.) Challenge is keeping the other player alive and supporting it without stealing kills (breaking barrels, tracking, repairing, etc) it being a random should help make it interesting.

Ah, finally, the game actually shows the true, non-euclidean damage model of the vehicles. Now I can see the random bit of space-time that keeps swallowing my shells.

As an avid player of the 103's this is basically how I play. The shovel is actually very useful the trick is just to be efficient with them. Getting just a little pile in front of your lower glacis anywhere on any map is huge. To make one, you move back and fowrth until you've made the little coke line of dirt in front of you then go back to aiming. Turn off hull aiming when moving and digging.
