For this Fellowship Forum, Dr. Fania Davis joined us to explore how we can re-imagine healing and justice in the context of our racialized society. We will explore the intersections of racial justice, restorative justice, healing, and indigeneity at this inflection point. How are these times of disaster, awakening and repair inviting us to release and imagine old social structures rooted in white supremacy? And how are these times ultimately inviting us to reimagine what it means to be human.

I love you and wish more than a few hundred will view your beautiful, courageous talk. I won’t forget it. I know you grew from sharing your heart, because I know that is my next step to speak out from my terrified heart. I was emotionally traumatized as a baby which was triggered at age 40. I know how the brain changes with trauma. I so applaud you, I hear you and acknowledge your contribution in this video as well as all you have accomplished. My Mom loved brown babies in our neighborhood. My first lover was Black and I lived with the family and fell in love with Black culture and "Progressive Jazz" at the time. My grandson is part Black. I’m White and not proud of it. Pain gives us guts somehow and you and your people have had MUCH more pain than I, yet are the most understanding and loving, so that brings tears to my eyes. I see your strength and courage and send you....love, love and more love.

Wonderful, healing, and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing this 'Restorative' conversation. The talk was in conversation with my heart & soul. The inspiration is generative and actionable. May the results move closer to that 'hundreth monkey.' 🙏

...🥰 I agree. It is long past time for white Americans to WAKE UP, STAND UP, and SPEAK UP. My soul is sickened by this organized narrative of white superiority and non-white inferiority that has been systemically programmed into my subconscious mind. Thank God it has not filtrated to my heart.

I see the moral sickness eating away at our souls and our society and I want to change that so that my grandson grows up in a world of healing, wholeness, justice and equality.

Thank you so much for this opportunity to hear your story Dr. Davis and thank you Angel for presenting this beautiful conversation and a look at how and what I can personally do to change my community.
