Is the pot aluminum or stainless steel? Does that matter when dyeing?

Your stuff looks really great and creative but I would really suggest procion dyes and I like to see the same stuff you're doing but on a sewing machine. I'm sorry but I'm not going to handle all that crap. But you have inspired me to start doing that because I love batik and I love dyeing. But I'm not a big fan of rip dyes that's
