I know a lot of people say that these buttons aren't real communication, they are trained button-reward responses. But that is about as coherent of a conversation as I have ever heard. Expressing what is desired, when it is wanted, and comprehending that she will need to wait but feeling disappointed that she has to wait for later for something she wants now. I mean, that isn't something that can just be trained. That is a real and complete conversation and emotionally appropriate reaction.

Our pets have very full thoughts and feelings. It is so nice that we finally are beginning to find a way to bridge the language barrier.

She doesnt even have to look down. She seems very confident in knowing what she wants to say and doesnt hesitate when choosing the words to express herself...very deliberate. Shes a bright girl. :)
