Well Nemesis said in the Rudy interview himself, he thinks Caps is number one but he himself might be better in some specific circumstances (He said he would be nr. 2 mid after caps)

Nemesis performance in Korean soloq compared to Caps proves nothing. Playing soloq to prepare for pro matches and playing it to get a high rank when you don't have a team are two different things.

At no point even Nemesis himself claimed to be better than Caps and always showed respect to his as a player (and we all know Neme has quite the ego) and to trash talk Caps because G2 lost one bo3 to NA is just cringe

Nemesis is great soloq player, but to say he’s better than Caps in pro play is huge disrespect to Caps. Nemesis does not have the accolades or performance in pro play to even compete with Caps.

This is like saying Tyler1 is better than every pro player who has not gotten challenger on all 5 roles because Tyler1 has gotten challenger on all 5 roles 😂. I guess Tyler1 is better than both Caps and Nemesis 💀

I really don't get the comparison. One plays primarily in SoloQ while the other Plays on a high end professional team. Apples to Oranges

1) Nemesis played competitive in LEC for 2 years

2) Caps won more than anyone on his merit but also because he played in G2 and Fnatic only. Put him in a low tier team and I want to see how much he wins.

3) Trophies don't define which individual player is better. They define which team is better.

4) Caps is better than Nemesis because he has better skills in teamfights, he can play a bigger variety of champions and because he is better at roaming to help the other lanes.
The only part of the game where I felt Nemesis wasn't losing to Caps was the laning phase.

Nemesis did NOT lose to caps every single time, in fact he won more then anyone else against caps. Caps is just the best, no doubt, nemesis never claimed to be better or anything, he always said he is confident enough in his own skills. Fanboys are wild sometimes.

soloqueue is a different game to coordinated pro play. Caps has been top tier for so long, can't even put nemesis in the conversation, he will always be a what if.

yeah well post korea nemesis is way different than when he was in EU, not saying hes definitely better but skillwise genuinely it would be an extremely close matchup now

Caps is the goat of EU. But I also think Nemesis deserves to play in a worlds level team in LEC. Sadly he gets no offer despite his level. I mean Nemesis, Inspired, crownie selfmade, lider and trymbi for example are all LEC players that have great potential and talent, and also proved at a high level in competition, most of them at worlds. But they aren't in LEC this year. LEC is right now the worst league in the world, in term of esport management. It is worse than NA because they both have passion problem within the teams as well as money problems. The off season gets worse every single year, some teams get ERL rookie that aren't even top 10 at their role in ERL and some ppl actually believe that the teams have faith in them. No they don't, because they don't care about the results, since almost all the money comes from the sponsorships and not the cashprize. Every single LEC teams this year except for G2, TH, RGE and KC could have had a better roster if they were actually interested in winning.
Fnc Fired the 2nd best support of the year bcs of a draft mistake at worlds, because the coach has no balls to deal with the draft problems.
Mad took 4 random players that don't even shine at a very lower level than LEC (spanish league).
SK should have gotten Chasy instead of Irrelevant who has been average at the game for the last 5 years, which mean they don't want to perfom great in LEC. I still appreciate the nisqy move.
XL won a lot of matches last year because of their mid jgl supp but they somehow decided to replace mid by a random not top 10 ERL midlaner and ignar (which is in my opinion good but limit is better). All of this because they are less expensive(Abedagge came back from NA).
BDS got rid of crownie for idk what reason. They also had better options in the jungle like inspired and cinkrof.
VIT did a good season but decided to ruin everything by picking up daglas when Inspired which is 5 times better was available. Cinkrof, 113, Isma, selfmade were also available and are better players
