The SPSS Item response theory (IRT) analysis | New

In this video, I demonstrate how use SPSS to run a 3 parameter logistic (3PL) item response theory analysis.

The steps to prepare SPSS for the analysis are as follows:
1. install R 3.5 on your PC
2. install STATS_IRM within SPSS
2. configure it [find the directory where R was installed]: C:\Program Files\R\R-3.5.0
3. install: SPSSINC_RASCH

This seems very interesting lesson. I was trying to go through the steps according to the instruction provided. I finished all installation of the apps(R35). But, eventually, the extension hub dialog in my SPSS v26 doesn't respond or couldn't give any results could help me to fix this problem? Thank you

This is very informative! Thank you for this video! I was able to install the plugins and run a test with a previously scored dataset (BILOG). Most b and c parameters are very close, but discrimination (a) is a lot higher in SPSS (1.8 times higher). Only thing missing is estimating the thetas for each students. In there a way to do this (EAP, TCC, ML, etc.)?

For example, at what point could one consider any given item as "easy", "of moderate difficulty" or "hard".
