Why is dark music so captivating? Why are dark, painful and sad things so achingly beautiful?

Pain is a pressure. It can form you into a diamond or grind you into dust.

Edit from half a decade later:
From the very pain of our mothers, we are given life. It's core to life's cycle. It can be the only proof of our lives on others even after death through grief. We become diamonds to some and dust to others. That pressure and what it makes you into are determined by yourself, but you don't have to bear it alone. Bearing that pressure with others who understand it can ease the weight when we're overwhelmed. We're all in pain at some point. We're all alive for now.

Wolf: Do you not fear me?

Girl: I do not.

Wolf: Why? These jagged teeth have torn and devoured the hearts of countless helpless beings. These wicked black claws have dug the graves of endless corpses. Even this snout, stained by the blood of all my victims, is dangerous, for with it I find all of my prey. Does the sight of me not induce dread, child?

Girl: I don’t fear you for I cannot see you. I am blind.

Wolf: Then, is the sound of my voice, my snarl, not enough?

Girl: Hearing you speak, all I sense is a lonely creature.

Wolf: You’d dare insult me?

Girl: It’s okay to be lonely. I’ve been alone all of my life, trapped in my world of darkness. I know your pain.

Wolf: No one has ever spoken to me this way... So, you do not care that I am a monster?

Girl: You are not a monster. You’re just lonely.

Wolf: I... I am so terribly lonely. You are the first to ever acknowledge me as anything but a monster... I shall spare you, child, for, even without your sight, you can see far more than anyone I’ve ever encountered before. You can see the heart, the spirit. You can see my soul.

The Girl reaches out her hand. The Wolf steps forward, lowering his head and pressing it against her palm.

Wolf: Thank you, my child.

The Wolf backs away and disappears into the dense woods. The Girl hears him leave and continues along the path, sure that though she can no longer hear him, the lonely Wolf remains close and watches over her, protecting her.

My channel was hacked and YouTube terminated it. I managed to recover my channel but the hackers deleted 800 videos including this one. I got the videos back but the comments are gone. Which is sad but at least the video is back.

The true monster is hiding under a little red hood and behind a smile of naivety.
The monster wants to live.
The monster wants to feel alive.
Yet, the monster only knows pain.
The monster never cries.
The monster always smiles.
Yet, the monster only knows pain.

The Wolf and the Stranger

Wolf: Why do you not run away?

????: Because you can't hurt me more than I already have been.

Wolf: But I will rip off your legs!

????: When every step is painful?

*???? Takes a step towards the wolf*

Wolf: I'll devour your arms.

*The Wolf bares his fangs*

????: When every action hurts?

*???? pets the wolf's fur*

Wolf: Your lungs I will chew while you are still awake.
????: Every breath burns anyways.
Wolf: Then I'll tear out your spine.
????: Standing straight wasn't comfortable anyways.

*The wolf jumps back*

Wolf: ... I ... I'LL EAT YOUR FACE THEN!

????: When smiling is even more painful?

*???? Smiles a sad yet hopeful smile*

*The wolf lays down next to them.*

Wolf: Sigh... You've had a tuff life then, huh?

????: You could say that.

Wolf: Then why do I not see defeat in your eyes? Why do you stand facing death and yet are able to smile?

????: Even though it's tuff, it's my life. It means I am here and being here living this life is better than not being here or pretending that I can't live my life. As for death, it scares me, but in my most troubled times I found someone even stronger than death. That allows me to be brave. He taught me how to not just survive but to thrive. Even though I still struggle with it.

Wolf: Wise words... who was your teacher?

????: You already know who.

Wolf: How?

????: Because dispite being a personification of my struggles... you are still me.

*The wolf begins fades away*
Wolf: Heh, wise words indeed. Take good care of us...

*The wolf vanishes*
*???? continues to stand in the rain for a while... They smile even though it hurts. They live even though it feels like death. They strive to not just survive, but to thrive. In this, they found peace and happiness.*

The end.

The wolf wasn't the bad guy.
Little Red wasn't so innocent after all.

*She* walks along the empty trail, rain soaking through her clothes. Her breath, warm as it escapes her, fogs the air in front of her face. Her dark brown hair, which was earlier tied into a long braid, clings to her face. Her legs ache, her throat burning. her eyes sting, invisible tears running down her face.
The rain never stops, the clouds thickening. She coughs weakly, her body feeling like jelly. Without thinking, she looks at the basket in her hands, gripped tightly by small fingers. The red and white checkered cloth is soaked through, the muffins underneath crushed into mush. Her hands and feet are numb, even in the gloves and rain boots.
She looks up, hearing a terrifying growl that sends her heart into frantic beating. Glowing light blue eyes stare at her, fangs bigger than her young hands bared. Swallowing, her vision blurs even more, and she begins to sniffle. She can't run, she knows it. The beast is at least four times her size, and will have no trouble eating her in one bite. The monsters growls deepen, it's mouth widening, rain and saliva dripping down from its mouth.
It's hungry.

As the rain falls down from over head, one can see a visage... a little girl crying in red.

Her cries can be heard through the rain as it crashes into her head, cursing her life, and wishing she were dead.

She looked for some sign for a possible friend, but all she saw was a wolf, and she thought this was the end.

The wolf slowly crept up to the little girl, his face covered in red, she looked at the wolf and pleaded, "Please. I just want this pain to end."

With a low growl the wolf moved ever closer, and she felt the pain would soon be over.

the little girl hoped that this was the answer, her life was but a tragedy after disaster.

The wolf now looking down unto the little girl, began to feel a tug at his heart, and the world began to swirl.

His heart, cold and alone, wandered in the rain, in search for a home.

Looking at this tiny girl he thought this could be the answer, "This girl in red... her life is my master."

The girl's eyes, dreary and dead, felt a sudden change, now with the wolf standing over head.

She looked up to see a wolf, bold and brave, standing in the rain undaunted, and hardly afraid.

She asked why the wolf was kind, as her tears dried up, and the pain furthest from her mind.

The wolf lowered his head to meet her eyes, his calm expression had calmed her, silencing her troubles and cries.

She didn't understand why, but she felt like the wolf was looking at a dear friend, one who's life had meaning, and would be sad to see end.

And so they sat in the rain waiting for it to stop, with a silent contempt they were both just happy, with their pain being forgot.
