Показать описание
See Prof. Jay Winter from Yale University, a member of the Academic Council of the exhibition, share his personal reflections on this unusual outdoor display dedicated to an extremely important, yet often overlooked period in the 20th-century history.
The footage was shot during a presentation in the French town of Verdun, one of the most important historical sites related to the First World War, in August 2019.
The exhibition is a result of cooperation between historians and experts from over a dozen countries. The aim of the project is to allow the visitors to learn about the variety of perspectives, experiences and attitudes in regard to the aftermath of the First World War and the emergence of the new order.
