I Go Upstairs And Try Qatar Airways A380 Business Class-Is It Better Than Q Suites?

I try what I think is the best business class experience in the world and it isn't Q suites like most would think
This is the amazing Qatar A380 Business Class which includes the world's best bar experience at 35000ft
In my humble opinion this is far better than Q suites and offers something completely unique that other business class cabins just can't compete with.

Nice video and informative, however the music is too loud, commentary too quiet and awful music choice. Not sure about the titles in the middle of the screen, better if they were at the bottom of the screen.

Evening Mark - fab report. I'm defo an A380 fan ( whatever airline it is! Just love the enormity of it all especially as now the 747 is a dying animal. It was always a thrill to sit in the nose of a 747, esp. row 1 knowing you would arrive before the pilots lol ) ). The food in Qatar Business, for sure, is as good and actually in my opinion ways better than BA First. Glad to see you were in much better control of the champs' glass on this flight - no damp trouser issues. Only 3 days now till my spring break, SFO for a week, BA A380 First out and back. For me the Concorde lounge is the best bit! The grub, the champs, and the view - what a day of lux! No idea what the lounge in SFO will see.

Ref' the snoring, it is so out of your control, you are asleep!! hence the ear plugs given!!! just drop a big fart and call it quits!! hahahhaa x

The problem with the 380 is that it's way too "open plan" compared to a Q Suite. Qatar's soft product is peerless though.

Did this from Sydney to London and back in 2019 and am seriously considering doing it again next year before the A380 is phased out of Qatar's fleet. It was an unforgettable experience. The quality of the food, the inflight service and that bar area were just beyond anything I've experienced on any other airline. I went to Europe and the UK from Australia last year and made the big mistake of choosing Singapore business over Qatar business to save a few hundred dollars. Trust me, I regretted it. Try the 'new' al mourjan the garden business class lounge, it's nicer, has more showers (not as fancy as in the original lounge), a gym, good view and far far less people (no paid access).
Qsuite was great when it was one of a few business class products with a door in the sky. Many airlines have caught up though and I personally find Qsuite pretty cramped. If ANA had more planes with the 'room' it hands down beats Qsuite.

Snoring is more acceptable than a screaming baby in business class, I've had that a few times and no ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones will block that.

Hi Mark. Wow, I was just one away from winning last week’s prize! Great video as ever. I’m definitely team A380. As you say, there is a real novelty about having access to a spacious bar with amazing hors d’oeuvres like sashimi. Qatar are really a cut above the rest. I flew the B777 from Manchester to Doha on business but your experience looks like it tops mine. Diptyque is a great product. Well, I’m hoping I win next time 😊 As for the snoring, I’d find that hard to tolerate. I always carry wax earplugs from Boots called Muffles in case of such events or screaming babies (in economy). I hope in time we may see you do a review of JAL or ANA. I think you’d really like the Japanese hospitality. Best wishes, R.

Team A380, but then I've only ever tried Emirates! You can't beat the sense of space, fab bars and where else can you have a shower on a plane before you land?!

As a general rule, I try not to fly Business Class on aircraft that also a First Class product. It makes me suffer from First Class envy. I always have to travel the highest class of service on the flight I am flying.

Love your appreciation of this amazing airline and cabin. Lucky enough to have tried Emirates and looking to do Qatar to Sydney-fingers crossed. These flights just make you smile the whole way !
