For me, the t test is not hard to execute, I just don't understand why the process works the way it does. Whatever I do, I cannot grasp why the p-value is calculated in that way. Why do we care about those tail ends...? I'm so confused. I'm missing the intuition behind the whole concept of the critical value and the p-value

You can add to say that Hypothesis testing is based on Alternative Hypothesis and here Ha -> is mean not equal to 0, ( could be less than 0 or could be higher than 0) means that it's two tailed. Also to mention when variance is unknown we use t dist.

it doesn't say t is 2.51 so I don't know what to do
if I say t is 2.51 I get the question wrong
