I like the idea of him returning as an AI as it doesn't totally cheapen Tony's sacrifice in Endgame, however if Superior Iron Man is going to be in The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars, I think we'd all still like to see Tom Cruise in the role. And if RDJ does want to officially return to the MCU since Doctor Strange will form the 616 Illuminati in the post credits scene of Secret Wars, they could just retrieve Tony's soul from Valhalla since he died in battle in Endgame.
