they are both great and terrible at the same time. they are “wrench pliers” but they are horrible at turning bolts…. but they are smooth jaw and you get a significant leverage advantage so they really are great for squeezing things without leaving big teeth marks. like if you need a pair of pliers to bend something into shape these are perfect but if you need a wrench just use a wrench instead.
