How to Winterize Your Tankless RV Water Heater

There is a drain petcock lower right side that should be opened...it drains the small blending tank on the back and the copper drain line that spills out the front on the teay.

As you show the use of a bucket in the shower I would suggest as part of the winterization process to pour some antifreeze down the drains to ensure the traps don't freeze. I also like to pour some into the black tank to keep freezing water away from the valve.

Excellent info. What about sanitizing the water system? Using 8oz of bleach to 45 gallons and running it through. Is it ok to send that solution through a tankless? Whereas tank heaters have valves to avoid diluted bleach water from entering the system. My new trailer with a Furrion tankless has no isolator valves to bypass it. What do you think? Thanks!
