The life of St. Paisios has been made into a series in Greek. Season 1 came out in 2022 and Season 2 will come out in 2024-2025 probably. This one scene where God appeared to St. Paisios in the series almost brought me to tears. A wonderful series.

Think of how many minds are duped by the theory of evolution. If God were to not exist, you’ve got nothing to lose by believing, but everything to gain if He does. And, he sure does.

The Bible and all the Church Fathers, including St. Augustine, whose Greek was not very strong and who believed that the Earth was created in one day, endorse young Earth. At no time did they consider the days of creation as mere story-filler. And at no time did any of the Fathers dismiss the genealogies of Genesis 5 & 1. St.Basil the Great expressed the same views in his "Hexameron". St.Augustine of Hippo did the same in his commentaries on the Genesis narrative in "The Literal Meaning of Genesis".

Ok, but this video was only the story of a dude who when he heard the theory of Darwin and started to pray, was like someone would hear Greek or Norse myths, and starts pray because does not like the narrative of the stories.
Where is the scientific argument or proposal of this video, and does this video disprove the theory? I did not say or hear a single argument that disproof devotion or Darwinism.

You know I wish there were more priests who would debate the evolution bs taught in schools as "science". Even I was losing my faith in religion as the catholic school that I went to couldn't adequately explain it. Then I saw kent hovind and became a total believer in a young earth again. My point is we need better preachers instead of the "oh just pray and believe in Jesus"
