IGN News - Grand Theft Auto V Gameplay Details Revealed

Rockstar has revealed that the game will have three playable characters -- Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Players will switch between characters constantly with a single button press, allowing them to see missions from different perspectives.

I'm curious about the multiplayer aspect. While you be able to have 2 of your friends to play as the other two characters? With the social circles, it seems as though all 3 of you could do side missions for your persons of interest, while doing the main missions together as a group. Seems pretty neat either way, if it comes out for PC I'm sold.

and I honestly would have loved if CJ and other people in the GTA San Andreas cast either made a cameo appearance or was mentioned somehow indirectly.

One thing I loved about GTA San Andreas was that characters from Vice City made an appearance. They even went as far as making Rosenberg mention Tommy during a mission with him. I can still remember it.

I would have liked to see how Carl and the gang had been doing over the years since they put Tempenny in the ground.

Minecraft is HD and costs around $25.00 not $60.00. The graphics aren't bad or outdated, they are just simplistic.

Last time I checked, the first GTA was released in 1997. Halo: Combat Evolved was released in 2001 and Battlefield 1942 was released in 2002..

Last time I checked Battlefield sold over 50 million copies and GTA sold over 114 million copies. Both are impressive numbers, but unless 114 million is a smaller number than 50 million, your claims seem to be invalid..

Battlefield is the best game in history, i don't see how these people don't get it. Battlefield is completely flawless, has absolutely no glitches at all, and the players are grown men. Not to mention, Battlefield has amazing graphics, which automatically makes Battlefield the most superior game franchise ever.

In his defense, it's pretty obvious they will be doing that.

L.A Noire, Max Payne 3 and GTA IV were all ported to PC after the initial console release.

Better graphics lead to a heightened sense of immersion, but gameplay is generally the important aspect. Graphics are just icing on the cake.

Let me correct you. Battlefield is an FPS. It has huge limits in the sense that the maps aren't in a fully traversable world and although it has basically all it needs to play the game, it is NOT glitch-free. GTA's graphics aren't as good because you're comparing a game 5 years ago to one 1 year ago. Teamwork also isn't even as big as you say in Battlefield. It depends on the team, not the game. And although it's much more based on teamwork, your teammates often fuck you over rather than help.

Why is everyone comparing Battlefield to Grand Theft Auto, they are completely different. To see graphics even moderately good like they are on GTA is mind-blowing with the freedom it gives. Battlefield graphics are considered incredibly low considering how they could have put more work into them since the game has plenty of missing content compared to GTA.

Lastly, "Battlefield has amazing graphics, which automatically makes Battlefield the most superior game franchise ever." That statement itself is exactly the reason why you shouldn't be talking about video games, at least when comparing an FPS to GTA. Compare it to other FPS games and yes, it is one of the best. But these comments honestly should not have been on this video at all. I love both games, just experience them well enough yourself before comparing. This coming from a Colonel 86.
