Consultant Urologists Drs Jim Duthie and Kamran Zargar will discuss the current levels of prostate cancer testing in New Zealand, highlight issues related to this, and educate health professionals on the current approaches being adopted internationally for prostate cancer testing and diagnosis.

As a part of their discussion this webinar will cover the background to PSA testing, the debate about overdiagnosis and overtreatment, what is actually happening with PSA testing in NZ and recent re-think on PSA testing from an international perspective. Dr Duthie and Dr Zargar will also talk through key points of mitigating overdiagnosis and overtreatment, PSA anxiety - to know or not to know as well as implementing routine testing in a GP practice.
