Remember as a kid the first time you saw an ancient as an Night Elf? The awe and disbelief that an NPC could be THAT big? And then seeing an EVEN BIGGER ANCIENT when heading into Darnassus? Blew my mind

I was hitting the training dummy in orgrimar and notice a guard that just hits the training dummy as if it's practicing rotations, which made me think "hey when is crendor gonna do pointless top 10 guards" also when that video happens I'd like to nominate that guard in orgrimar

On my list of ancients I'd add Gracus, we meet him in Ohn'aran Plains at the Shady Sanctuary, where he asks us to feed ducklings. Now in the emerald dream he's there again and there's a short questline where we help him pass on, and the now older ducklings are there along with other of his friends.

I was hoping you’d include the one that circles around Dolaanar. Have so many memories of that guy stomping around. When I first started playing I didn’t know if he would hurt me or not or if I could get smooshed so I always tried to avoid him lol.

Ancients are some of my favorite creatures in Warcraft. You can never go wrong with big tree dudes.

A winner, as always. Especially the "Number 1" while 2 is on the screen. Classic Crendor lol. And while I know it technically wasn't an ancient, I did want to shout out the Protector (someday Ancient) you essentially raise in Felwood. It's just a fun little questline with a cute little sapling, who quickly grows, and ends with setting their roots in the very ground they sprouted from to someday protect Felwood. And if we live long enough, we might meet them again. 🥲

Ironically I don’t remember the name of my favorite ancient, or even where he resides. But one of my favorite memories in the game was my first ever character when I was like 9 was a night elf. Somewhere in the starting zone I saw an ancient walking around and saying dialogue and I was absolutely blown away that this game had treebeard!
