Great idea with sandpaper and hairspray as opposed to just using stiff brushes. Nice work Scott.

Interesting technique. Isn't MRP lacquer based? I'm assuming (if the paint is lacquer) you have to sand the top layer so the water will penetrate through the lacquer to the base hairspray. I've always used water based paints to do my chipping but may have to try adding lacquer thinner to the paint and do some testing. Great tutorial Scott!
