Moaan InkPalm 5 - Boox Palma Alternative for Way Less!

I try out the Moaan InkPalm 5 which is available to import from the AliExpress website. Do I recommend this? Well, it's a phone sized e-reader for way less than the competitors, what's not to like, let's find out!

Hurrah! Really pleased to see you review this. I've been asking the e-ink YouTubers to have a look but couldn't wait any longer and bought one. It's a nice little thing but very unpowered - good enough for the Kindle app. For £80, it makes a nice portable distraction-free experience.

I love my inkpalm, I downloaded a few apps that people suggested on Reddit and I only use it for reading so it's perfect for me, battery doesn't last long, but enough for 2 days reading of 3-4 hours. It's very light and small enough I don't mind taking it everywhere which I couldn't do with my Kindle

I use hisense touch lite, which costed just £25 more than inkpalm but offers quite more than this. Yeah not quite cheap compared to inkpalm, but still almost half of boox palma and hisense touch comes closer to boox palma in many aspects (with microphone jack and speakers too ❤)

I like using more then one device, I like keep my iPhone safe in pocket.

Or buy a used Android, w/ 1 T sd, and put on greyscale & load kindle, kobo, Google play books, audible. Should be able to get for less then $100.00. Can hotspot with phone and even use as a gps if needed.

Hisense A5 pro is more cheaper and better than Palma and this, have sim and NFC.

Cheap Chinese product with a microphone but no speakers? Big red flag for me, given the growing concern over security in business and education.
