The way it works: satellites in space.

This has been such a lifesaver for so many people in Florida during hurricane Milton and in so many other places where internet is so important. This was a fantastic review and I can't wait to use my starlink next time we go camping!

Excited to watch this! I’ve been going back and forth on the idea of getting one!!

They will definitely arrest me if I walk around with a suspicious looking bigass battery and tons of wire :)

For remote locations with no connectivity, it's a game changer.
However, Inconsistencies in city are a bit more than expected.

Great work as always ✨

Starlink is not meant for big cities where tall buildings block the signal. It’s meant for rural areas.

Starlink needs line of sight of the sky, why would anyone think the train with a roof would work?

You could use Anker 737 power bank highly portable and very easy to carry.

How'd ya know that's the exact review I needed right now?
I just moved to the Arizona dessert. The exact opposite of where you are.
Not much cell here so my hotspot is worthless.
Lookin to the Stars for relief.

Thank you for making this video! I really wanted a good review on the Starlink Mini, as that is a game changing means of communication, and portable communication to the point of off grid is pretty impressive. Couldnt find any reviews on the starlink mini until your video!

I think where starlink mini shines is when you are totally off grid, eg camping or travel to remote destinations like the arctic and antartica, where these speeds would be sufficient in places with no connectivity to begin with. This tech also helps saves lives too, with the recent Florida hurricane disaster, and with how starlinks played a crucial role to enable communications and provide aid!

Would like to see more of this game changing tech review series too, and if possible would love to see a possible short video on your experience with starlink on Hawaiian Airlines! And if you are in the US, if possible, a review on Tesla FSD, and your opinion on its current state would be awesome too!

Great info! I live in the Midwest, and have a Subaru and plan on going camping sometime when I'm not caring for my aging mother. This would come in handy! Thorough review and it would pair nicely with solar panel or a gas generator in the winter (I wonder how small those can go).

It would have been funny if you opened the box and there was a pizza inside, haha. Great video and very informative! Your content is always so practical for what someone would want to know. I really prefer that over just reading through a spec sheet. Maybe you could do a video where you witness a Space-X launch in person? Just a thought!

You did a great job on the mini! Right now it’s not for everyone but what about in 10 years or more?

Great review. Thank you. Just one thing either you’ve got wrong or I’ve got wrong. At about 5:00 you tried to account for the variation in speed tests by suggesting it has to do with the satellites orbiting around the earth. I’m not 100% sure but I THINK the satellites are shot into a fixed location and stay in the same place in space as the earth revolves and rotates. They’re not like the sun or moon that start out in one place and then move relative to our vantage point. Not sure if I explained that properly. Thanks for this video though. Great.

Use the mini in Ireland it's absolutely amazing.

You can't expect to get any signal inside a train. Rule number one is to have an open view of the sky. It appears that she doesn't understand this. Otherwise the Starlink Mini is pretty incredible for what it is!

I think you missed the part where is says "starlink needs a clear view of the sky." I install starlink for people in Colorado and in remote areas it's great. It's not going to work INSIDE any vehicle.

I wonder how long you can run it on a 30, 000 Mah power bank. Just curious if I can take it on a thru hike lol
