Even if we are hard-core fans we should not blindly side with our idol in these kind of situations ....nor we should go with the staff cause we never know
Just stay neutral

For People like Jennie and Hwasa, people generally think that because of their appearance, they're rude people. However, everyone knows Jennie is the sweetest human being and is always looking out for everyone she encounters. Similarly, Hwasa is known as one of the most outgoing, fun idols. She generally tries to make sure everyone is having fun and is comfortable. So it just makes me mad seeing people try to publicly shame them for something they haven't done.

To me Irene doesn't compare to someone like Kwon Mina.

Lets not forget that Irene was *defending* her group members. The stylist made her members clothes too short and uncomfortable for her members. And now that it turns out that it was the stylist who was wrong no one praises Irene for being well behaved?? This industry is full of misogynists who don't realise that they have literal mothers.

Idc how famous and successful the idol is it doesn't give them the right to treat other human beings like crap

I had a coworker who was a classic diva. She was rude to everyone, treating us all like we were less than her, even though we were all at the same "rank" within the workplace. I avoided interacting with her as much as possible, but was always friendly when we had no choice but to work together. She managed to convince a couple people that I was mean to her, because I was "jealous" of her. Then she abruptly quit and my reputation was forever tarnished.

I can't imagine how much worse staff have it, as idols seem to technically be their bosses.

Honestly I still don't hate Irene after what happened nor do I hate the stylist because we still don't know what happened and why they were arguing. Also a lot I mean A LOT of stylists came forward and said how nice is was even a fan of a mother. We have seen so many times Irene giving staff members gifts and stuff even to her co-workers like nct etc. Also if if they argued, I don't believe it was that bad because there was a time when a hairdresser cut her bangs in a wrong way and it got ruined yet she wasn't angry at her but laughs at it. So yeah that's my pov on this situation.

Muhammad Ali once said something about "don't trust celebrities who are rude to the waiter because if I was the waiter, they would treat me the same"

Thank you for making this! What Irene did in the moment was not okay. The stylist who messed up on the RV members clothes needed to be approached and Irene needed to be held accountable for the encounter and choice of words to the stylist. Once the situation all got out and into the media Irene apologized twice and also to the stylist, which the stylist forgave her. But listen, the thing is- okay I am a multi-stan. I love BTS, Red Velvet, EXO, BLACKPINK, SHINee, TWICE, Aespa, ATEEZ, ITZY, TXT, NCT..etc. I mean it when I say that Irene is literally one of the most kind hearted idols out there. Irene is a personn who is allowed to get upset. Being quiet, reserved, and introverted does not means that you are a rude person. You know what it can mean, that you struggle with social anxiety. Which is the fear a person has of being judged or scrutinized when they talk. Now imagine social anxiety while being a kpop idol, I am pretty sure so many idols have this problem as well as many people around the world. The amount of pressure that is on Irene is not healthy- for any artist. Though Irene has to suck it up to be one of the most loved idols, even if she happens to be an introvert, a feminist, and a woman in the Kpop misogynist world.

I hold Irene accountable for that rude encounter but calling her " a rude person" Is wrong when you know everyone has their bad days. Just one breakdown shouldn't reflect on their whole life. She is known to be one of the kindest idols and people give her hate for just one break down which she humbly apologized for and that other person has also forgiven her publicly

everyone sounds so mature now. but where were all these comments when AOA and april were put through a hell, meanwhile other idols with similar cases received a total different treatment?? I just gotta say that apologize to april and aoa, spread the word, defend them. hyunjoo and mina are terrible people, everyone close to them has been saying that for a very long time, especially with hyunjoo

It was time that RED VELVET fixed that problem with their stylist
I agree with IRENE because the staffs actually treating them badly by giving them uncomfortable clothes.
And because the idols speak out about the staff, they always try to look for something to say about the idols

Lmao the Irene one is ridiculous, seriously it was just a one time workplace argument. That shit happens all the damn time, I’ve too been yelled at by my bosses before. Some I deserved, others I didn’t but I never acted like a brat and posted my work issues on social media just because I got yelled at one freaking time. There’s a procedure you go through to sort crap like this out if you feel like you’ve been wronged or have issues with someone else in your work environment but because that staff member ignored the required procedure/steps and instead decided to do something stupid like take the issue to social media, what for ? Attention ? Maybe to get back at Irene for yelling at her, then I ain’t got no sympathy for that staff member at all. Plus her story ain’t bloody consistent. Another thing from my experiences over the years in the workforce is that normally if your manager or boss or the person your working for is yelling at you, that means you fuck’d something up. Work is not school, you are required to meet expectations of whatever job you do, if y’all can’t hack it, refuse to listen or slack off, then don’t act like a drama queen stating they were just being rude to you for no reason, when in reality you’ve obviously done something wrong and don’t want to own up to it
