Two Ways to Create a NUT AND BOLT Animation in Blender! (You'll LOVE the second way!)

Показать описание
In this video, learn both how to animate a nut and bolt's movement in Blender with keyframes, as well as how to use constraints to link object movement inside your viewport! This allows you to not only animate movement, but also to set up movements that are linked together in your viewport without keyframes!

So...I was SUPER excited to start learning about how the movement constraints work in Blender - MUCH more to come on that topic. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for the video! Could you show the screw animation on a curved shape, like the Bar Bell Earring?

Amazing! I didn't know about any of these options. Thank you!
One request, could you enable the add on that shows the keyboard keys your pressing?

Superb may man just gave me a few ideas of what I can use this with.
Cheers

Very cool tut as always! It would be interesting if there's a setting that uses the thread count, and then determines the actual calculation of degrees for turning the nut. So that we're not estimating. But looks super cool!

hi, Can you tell me how to make 1/2 NPT thread? (conic)

Thank's boy! great videos. I'm crossing from 3dmax to Blender, and from Corona to Cycles. Blender is very good software. You make great works!

I'm hoping the geometry node workflow will give blender a means of doing these kind of things parametrically.

The bolt gets defined with thread length and pitch as variables(along with diameter and thread profile), which can be referenced in the nut transformations via calculations.

Great works! I'm new to blender and I come from 3dmax.

Using constraint to add animation cannot save the animation file like the method of key frame right?

i only have one question though. lets say you set one up with the constraint options. But you then want to move the piece to a different location on the screen, Do you have to go in and redo all the values?

That was a awesome tutorial. Could you use constraints for vehicle wheel animation?

Wouldn't it be much easier if you add collision to both the objects and parent an empty to the nut so that we can move it with the empty. It would more natural that way and more easy

Everyone make this tutorial so simply but in practice it doesnt work so simple. If you have a difference degree not 90 degree, and you want to animation some stuff and also some bolt.
