Hello Roy,
A friend of mine was able to get some 100% Gegr Janssens down from the German loft Brieftauben-Zumdiek few years ago over here to Vancouver Island B.C. Canada.
And I have to say they are very good pigeons for our course, and they seem way better than average that's for sure.
Also, we are finding they cross really well with his direct Piet Boyen and Jan Polder fond pigeons from the Netherlands. They seem to navigate our coast mountain range quite well.

So far I never saw Janssen pigeons in this color...Typical color for Janssen is light check, blue bars and lately they had one or two red birds... Their birds has shorter, stronger, more pointed beak than average racing homer! I get the chance to visit them in May 1997. over someone who was good friend with them and as far as I saw they didn't have any bird with white wing or one or two white feathers...Before they had some dark checks but with specific pattern as Yonge Merx was...
