I have never heard of a pine, spruce, fir, that can be harvested in only 4 years. I've also not heard of a birch, oak, willows, that requires 150 years.

Evergreens from my understanding takes about 20-30 years depending on climate and water availability. Whereas birch/oak, takes anywhere from 40-50 years.

This doesn’t explain leafy trees in Florida and California where there is no snow. He’s partially right, though.

All that matters is how you use the wood.

Sometimes your wood is hard and other times it's soft, just the way it is 😀

Not true... think about eucalypt trees... no needles and no loss of leaves in winter... and they are hard hardwoods

Certain bodypart can also be soft and hard. Shame it got head of its own and often its not your decision what state it is.
