President Obama, speaking at the annual National Prayer Breakfast, reacted to those who question his faith, saying that it doesn't matter what others say, but whether him an First Lady Michelle are true to God.

Quoting one Scripture does not a Christian make Jesus said it's by their fruits ye shall know them (see Matthew 7:20) If you he `s a Christian, then why did he snub the last 2 national days of prayer, have Christian symbols removed where he spoke, why was he registered as a Muslim in his grade schools, why did he have direct ties to Louis Farrakhan, goes on and on and on.

Whatever he is or is not in his walk with God is not up to you to point out or judge. Why do Christians think they are in charge of who is a child of God... some of these people you keep questioning And judging will make it to heaven and you won't because you are busy being over righteous like you are the ones God gave the keys to heaven and only you hold the judgement seat. Keep working on your own salvation. Make sure you are always upright in your Christian walk and leave the judging to God himself...

Enjoyed this speech. Seems an appropriate forum to share his personal faith. I enjoyed his reflections on his mother's spirituality. I think being prepared and conscientious with his words is not just part of his personality, but also knowing 1) by virtue of being U.S. president, his words will be heard around the world, 2) he is vulnerable while sharing an intimate personal experience - how he came to his faith, and 3) everyone in the audience is not necessarily "friendly."
