One of the first stops for my bachelor party in 93' was Dave and Busters (Dallas, TX). My best friend walked me up to the T2 cabinet (knowing it was my favorite), set down three stacks of quarters and said "have at it... more quarters are on the way." I loved that game. 80s and 90s... good times. Simpler times.

The "works in a drawer" clip brought back an old memory from my childhood. My father built a TV set from a kit (Heathkit, I think). It had the same design. We ran that TV for a good number of years.

I don’t think I’ve ever played the game growing up but T2 is my favorite movie of all time! I’ve always wanted one of these!

... Oh man wow! I remember playing the hell outta this game. inside a bowling alley near Yankees stadium, back when I was a kid. I wish there was a remaster/ remake version for current home consoles.

lots people ate the fair amusement park was laughing at me when i played this as a kid. my entire body was shaking when i used those machine guns.

This was at the hype of the Terminator 2 man I loved this game, it was my 2nd movie I ever watched in the movie theater at the time as a kid back in 1991 my first movie in theaters was Tremors...

The game was awesome in the arcades, NES game sucked but the arcade ports was decent... And of course love the pinball version as well one of my favorites along with Last Action Hero

One thing that's interesting which I've learned through the webpage of John Vogel (one of the designers of this game) was that the guns originally were going to have a switch that would let players stun innocent bystanders without fear of a penalty (not just that, but the guns had a different design than the ones which resembled the 40 watt range Phased Plasma Rifles from the movie). In addition, there were going to be some stages that scrolled forward like a racing game (which was inspired by the forward scrolling stages in Operation Thunderbolt, which Midway used as inspiration for T2). also, there are some videos of the animation tests done for the T-800 Endoskeletons.

After a little over a decade of regret from selling my original T2 Cab, that regret finally came to an end this morning as I scored me another 💀 Lot of debate with the 1UP but at the end of the day, nothing beats an original, the sound of those guns with the built in lights, the feel of them not feeling like plastic toys with dangling wires, onscreen flashing damage effects & everything else that comes with it. Sure you can modify the 1UP cab but it's just not the same. Deal with the nearly 400lb cabinet which actually was a breeze for my buddy & I to move this time around as nothing against 1Up, they do a remarkable job but this one Terminates it 💪💀

tod good work but with out crt tubes being made and most gun games made for crt tubes not compatible with lcd monitor what does the future hold for these wonderful old gun games will some one ever come up with a solution so these old games can live on
