My favorite Ali quote of all time: “if you look at the world at 50, the same way you did at 20, then you wasted 30 years of your life.” Truth.

When people spoke their mind openly and tv wasn't afraid to air it.

you'd never see modern day celebs taking a stand like Ali did. He was in a league of his own.

This really shows how talk shows have devolved, instead of making annoying jokes every minute they ask their guests intelligent questions while not interrupting them

Sacrificed his prime years for what he believed in. Most of us will never get close to what he gave up. Truly the peoples champion.

Remember, this is when he was a villain and hated by the media and masses, he just didn’t care and wasn’t paving the ground for gaining something later, he is real, that is why he is a legend and widely-respected around the world

Ali's courage inspired many men like me to refuse the draft. He was my hero when I was 18, and he means more to me now as a 70 year old.

The fact that this discussion was civil and didn't end in a shouting match really shows how far we've fallen.

Muhammad Ali wasn't just a boxer, he was also a black activist who was fighting for our rights. Thank you, Ali.

Crazy seeing an interview where they aren’t getting interrupted every 30 seconds

If the people that start the war had to go and fight the war there would be no more war .

I am now almost 61 years old - and it is still one of the highlights of my life when I met him, shook his had, and talked with him.
