Take On Mars is still getting updates and is becoming less well named over time. Europa is now offered as a new location although it's only in Sandbox and limited scenarios. You get to explore the surface and go under the ice into the oceans below.

“There’s a nice big spiky rocky thing, presumably made of spiky rocks.” this is the reason I watch Scott Manley.

Love your videos. Thank you for taking the time to make them. I'm an artist so I know very little about physics... Anyway, it's appreciated

Jesus, going out of the sub into Europa's black void of an ocean...

I know it isnt a horror game, but I was ready to see shit go down BAD.

Like, after he takes the samples, he turned to the sub to return, and SOMETHING pulls it back into the darkness and leaves you stranded.. >.<

Also, isnt Europa's ocean under like 30 kilometers worth of ice, not 3?

There's certainly green down there. And blue, red, yellow Them creatures come up with some AMAZING color displays. Bioluminesence is incredible.

John Shepard ramped off the ramp and did a backflip and landed.

So if ice doesn't work the same was on Europa, I guess those interplanetary ski trips are out.

3:50 reminded me of the scene in Armageddon where they launch the armadillo over the asteroid.

I suppose it is possible that bioluminescence could also have envolved in any Europan life. It is fairly common in aqutic Earthings.

I used to work with a guy that did a Saturation dive to 1025 feet, that took close to two weeks of decompression. If you are going so deep you need to use hydrogen rather then helium there is so little oxygen fire is no risk, less then 1% of the mix would be oxygen.

Wouldn't the maximum diving depth be different on Europa? Since is has a lower gravity wouldn't the pressure be lower and deeper depths?
