His acting was incredible in this one, especially this scene.

The accent and that little hand gesture while he goes 'no gracias, soy alergico a los crustaceos' is spot on. He even laughs at how good he thinks he is. Top-notch actor. He was the shit in the late 90's early 2000's I don't know what happened but somehow he fell from grace about 10 years ago or so. Hope he makes a comeback

by 2000 i was at highschool here in Argentina, and the Brendan Fraser's "un momento estoy hablando espaniouol" was iconic among my school mates.

This movie was/is a true masterpiece

This movie is great. Brendan played very different roles, he speaks spanish, he cries over the sunset, he is a tough basketball player, a handsome and brillant writer, even Abraham Lincoln, and a big looser. In The Mummy movies he is completely different. A kind of Indiana Jones, an alpha male. That´s a true actor.
