Live at FDD: Iran’s Nuclear Program: Ongoing Activities, Obligations, and Policy Options
Показать описание
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is reporting that Iran is concealing undeclared nuclear material and sites, a violation of Iran's comprehensive safeguards agreement and a breach of its Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty obligations. Alongside Iran's refusal to allow IAEA inspectors access to two sites over the last five months—part of an ongoing investigation into undeclared nuclear materials and activities—the IAEA also reports that Iran increased its low-enriched uranium stockpile by 50% in the last three months.
Iran’s Nuclear Program: Ongoing Activities, Obligations, and Policy Options, hosted by FDD, provides detailed analysis on what is included in the IAEA reports, what they reveal about the status of Iran’s nuclear program, its current “breakout time,” and next steps for the IAEA and policymakers in Washington and Europe.
Panelists clockwise from top left:
Andrea Stricker, Research Analyst, FDD
David Albright, Founder and President, Institute for Science and International Security
Richard Goldberg, Senior Advisor, FDD and former Director for Countering Iranian Weapons of Mass Destruction, National Security Council
Mark Dubowitz, Chief Executive, FDD
