HJ I just want to tell you that I am subscribed to your channel and I really enjoy, I am 77 years old so I don’t comment as much because the fingers are a little stiff but I will continue to watch your videos and always give you the thumbs up.Keep up the great work.

You are truly inspiring in so many ways. Everyday I play your videos in the background and listen to your thoughts as my motivation during work.

Young kids can never be "too much". They are often the most real expressions of personality. Adults hide behind facades many times.

This is a reason to get children of our own: they carry us, enlighten our days, and gives us a sense of patient love.

I can't believe that one person shows up to every stream to dislike 😂

Anyway - great stream. Unfortunately I can never watch it live as it starts in the middle of the night in Sweden, so I'm grateful that you upload them to Youtube afterwards.

Thanks for another fun video! For my MB Bohem I use a bulb syringe, (that I purchased at a local drugstore) and trim the end to fit an empty ink cartridge snugly (with the back end cut off). I use this setup to flush the section/nib assembly. I use the same technique for other pens that are tricky to clean (Lamy Safari, AL, LX, Pilot, Sailors, etc.). Were you thinking of the Savanna (sort of avocado green) and Terracotta Safaris?

In regards to places to shop for vintage: I heartily agree with your recommendation of Peyton Street Pens and Teri, over the years I have purchased several pens there. I also recommend Indy-Pen-Dance. I purchased a couple of vintage pens from the 1940s a decade ago from owners Linda and Mike Kennedy, the pens are great and part of my regular rotation. Linda is the R. Binder trained nibmeister and Mike the repair tech. Only at the Indy-pen-dance web site, or at many US pen shows where Linda and Mike work their magic. During one show Mike disassembled a 1930s celluloid Doric I had purchased from another vendor, installed new seals and tested it while I had Linda re work the nib on a modern pen, both pens are working well years later. Their web site features a monthly pen tray of vintage pens for sale. I have also purchased vintage pens from Anderson Pens in Appleton, Wisconsin, both a brick and mortar and a web site, the Andersons always have a changing stock of inspected, and checked vintage pens on hand. On the web site you can sign up for a weekly Email circular which among other items, lists the new additions to their vintage inventory. Hope this helps those looking for reliable vintage pens.

Had a great time with tonight’s live show. In regards to the question about servicing the MB Boheme: while I didn’t have time to watch it, some time during the last month I noticed someone posted a YT video on how to completely disassemble a Boheme and re assemble it. It shouldn’t’ be to hard to search for it. thanks for the fun evening.

Like you, I've not been a fan of cartridges. However, I have succumbed recently for pens I take to work at least. The combination of convenience (I work in a hot-desk environment so ink bottles are awkward) and my discovery that Diamine do a decent range of their inks in this format has tipped the balance. Picking up a "variety pack" is also an economical way to try out other inks. Though that way, temptation lays ...

Always a pleasure watching your channel! I just got the lamy autumn sage and I’m really enjoying it.
Ps: If you’re into unknown Italian handbags I recommend you Piero Guidi and Pollini (maybe it’s the brand you mentioned?).
Greeting from Italy!

That was fun! Caught it on delay as this week has been swamped. I'm approaching 50 inks and feeling somewhat satiated. Hope to catch you live next week!

I like that comment on having too many inks. It is my case, and it can be compared with being overweight. I am borderline being "ink obese", and I am taking steps to reduce my "ink weight". I identified some ink bottles that are quite low and target them for refilling my pens. Did empty two bottles since I started, but one is a baby 10 ml from Herbin. Got two Monteverde 30 ml bottles that will soon become empty -but I have no regret for doing so, as, these being some of my favourites, I bought additional bottles some time ago when they were on sale. It will be an entire different thing when I target unique ink bottles...

I hope you and the family have a wonderful time in Italy. Venice is one of my favourite places, I wish I had spent more time there in my early 20's. Will go back one day.
