When I'm brewing coffee that isn't espresso I find myself reaching for the Orea V3. In terms of pour over drippers it looks very simple, but its ability to make a quality cup of coffee easily, quickly, and consistently is second to none. So in this video I get into the details that make this brewer top notch and my favorite recipe.

15g of coffee ground medium (650 Microns)
Water at 200 degrees F (93 C)
1:16 Ratio, TBT 2:15-2:30
1. Start with a 40 gram bloom, pouring water in quickly (10-15 seconds)
2. As the coffee blooms for 30 seconds, stir or swirl gently
3. After 30 seconds pour in 100 grams, reaching 140 grams in 1-1:15 seconds
4. Allow the water to nearly reach the bed of coffee
5. Pour in the last 100 grams, reaching 240 grams around the 2 minute mark
6. Allow the dripper to drain and enjoy.
