This was so helpful. This soppy cup was recommended to me by a speech therapist. She explained that the sipping motion helps to develop muscles in the baby’s mouth that will support them with expressive speech. I ordered it from Amazon and it came the next day. I washed it out and gave my daughter water in it. I tried drinking from it and nothing came out. I gave it to the baby and she figured it out instinctively. This video was helpful in explaining how to cup works. Thank you 😊

I bought a different brand but THANK YOU so much for helping these things make sense. I'm over here trying to drink from this cup and my daughter is watching me like I'm crazy. She can't figure it out but this is the first time she's used it. I am desperate to get her off the bottle and then once we find something that works, I'm getting her off the breast, too.
