When Chris Hardwick was accused of SA by an ex girlfriend, Wil Wheaton didn't defend Hardwick. Wheaton was Hardwicks college roommate. Wheaton isn't exactly someone you'd want in a foxhole next to you. I could see if a grenade came your way, Wil would throw you onto the grenade to save himself.

Will Wheaton is the epitome of the creepy "nice guy" who really has massive bitterness, resentment, and rage that he can't contain whenever he feels challenged. I remember 11-12 years ago when some fans tried to do a little social media campaign to get him to come to a smaller convention, and he had a total meltdown over how "invasive" it was. Of course, once the con had grown a few years later he was all over charging people tons of money to get a picture.

Hypocritical considering Wil Wheaton has also been a part of Nerd HQ events Zac used to do yearly where he raised money to help kids from developing countries get the surgery they need for their cleft lip and cleft palate (through Operation Smile). And it was different than other charity drives because it was quantifiable. Zac can count the number of kids they would be able to help because each surgery is $240, so once the event is over, donors are aware of where their money goes and how many were helped.
