Thanks for the recommendation. I’ve actually had this album for many years now, but never listened through, discouraged by the first couple of minutes seeming so bombastic and badly recorded. Now I persevered and yes, it was well worth it. More listens to come…

The other album is called Rapsodies from 1986. It’s available on Tidal in a remastered version. Very nice sound quality.

I have been listening to this album several times the last days! Just returned from Greece (my sister lives there) so it’s very nice to her some more Greek music! Thanks

Hey Janos, my last name is actually Greek and not Italian like many people assume. My grandfather spoke Greek fluently, but I sadly didn’t pick any of it up, although I do remember hearing it as a kid. He was a ham radio operator and had built a huge tower on the side of his house for it. He also built a ton of tube gear, and his own stereo from amp to speakers. I inherited his extremely vast tube collection as well as a good amount of beautiful old crudely struck ancient Greek coins dating from BC. I could go on but I’ll spare you for now. I do have a duplicate LP of the history of Greek music I’d love to gift to you, which I’ll email you about if you’re interested. It’s the least I can do to show you appreciation for your wonderful shared knowledge and kindness.

Wow, have started listening almost half of the album. Uff, it absolutely needs a lot of attention to listen, very, very mental and emotional! I'm listening to the remastered Tidal version. It needs also some volume, very deep vocals and some songs start with interesting instruments/synthesizer. Thanks a lot!

That is a pretty cool album. I wish I had it on vinyl. I'm not sure why, but it reminds me in parts of Dead Can Dance. Have you heard the 'Into the Labyrinth' Album? Worth a listen.
