Tirupati Laddu row: SC forms independent SIT, says 'sentiments of crores of devotees involved'

The Supreme Court on Friday formed an Independent Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate allegations that animal fat was used to make laddus, which are served as prasadam at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh.

There are lakhs of cases pending before indian courts.. Some of them more than 25 years, so they have to give importants to those cases! Not trivial issues like this. Further, many curupt politicians are enjoying bail facilitity for long time, without any trial for years. Kindly expedite them and proove India is a democratic country.
