Polarising in appearance but devastatingly effective on the road the Alfa Romeo SZ by Zagato took new age materials and design processes (for its time) to reinvigorate Alfa Romeo's image from rusting piles of Italian metal to promising a new way forward for the brand and its future products.

From its controversial looks to its glorious Busso engine we explore this car inside and out to find out what made it so special and just couldn't help ourselves get enticed in the romance of it all in the same way as any other classic Alfa Romeo product.
