The interesting thing with the blurred out faces is that having issues recognizing faces or facial blindess is a medical situation that can often occur in patients with brain tumors and other mental traumas.

I think what you did best here is make us feel like how dementia feels like to the people that are affected by it at first, which makes us as confused and scared as how the patient is, making the viewer think everyone around us is insane and wants to do bad things to us, and especially with the blurred faces making it scarier.. but as the reminder strikes in, everything seems to make sense now..

My father used to work at the nursing home and usually tells us stories about the workers that are in the nursing home. It does depend on what nursing home it is though, but some workers really do mistreat old people, especially the ones with dementia or have a disability and the people who mistreat the poor old people just wants to get the job done, they're usually rough and careless. Stiries like these are very common in the nursing home, like the old people escaping or having trauma so they wont allow anyone to touch or take care of them. Just to be safe, if you really care for your parents, don't send them to any nursing home, there's a lot of mistreatment without people knowing. ❤❤

This is such an amazing plot twist and concept, like at first you are so confused, but then you understand. This is an amazing representation of dementia, the blurred faces, everything. Valentine is so amazing at recreating all of this. She is incredible at making stories and deserves soooo much more credit for her work.

*The way she doesn't understand anything*(often forgetful)
*The sudden shock when they realize* (often when people remember they feel shocked and depressed)

This reminds me so much of my grandma, she had dementia and would forget my name. Every time i came to visit her she would tell me that i was a beutiful, Young woman. I feel like calling myself ugly is disrespecting my grandma now.
