For those of you worrying that it's just going to be another simulator ride, I can assure you that it's not going to be that. This is going to be a trackless ride, but with a ton of animatronics and interactive elements. There will be parts of the ride where you will actually have to leave the vehicles to explore parts of the star destroyer to get clues and codes to set the vehicle on the right path.

If you look at the design and read the description of the vehicles, it says that the vehicles travel to a location depending on the code that's input into them. If you look in front of the seats, each rider is going to have their own mini screen to input these codes, making every ride unique.

Plus, the building for this attraction is gigantic. They also confirmed that there will be over 100 animatronics (and probably more) that will be full sized and fully functional. They're going all out with this ride.

Remember, this ride will have 150 ANIMATRONIC FIRST ORDER STORMTROOPERS.There are 119 Animatronics in TOTAL in Pirates of the Caribbean. The hype is real.

This will be trackless and you will get off the ride then get back on to finish. You can see they have you enter from one side and leave on other.

It reminds me of the cars we ride in on Indian Jones, I wonder if it will be an actual ride like that or a star tours type ride with a screen.

As much as I love Star Wars I know my 5 year old brother is obsessed with it. I hope there is at least one ride in the land that he can ride too or he is gonna be heartbroken 😭

It looks like a mix of the eight-passenger Delorean from Back to the Future: The Ride and the Starspeeder from Star Tours.

I'm confused. Doesn't the First Order ride use the new OmniTable system? That blueprint clearly had Doom Buggy style vehicles, which are shaped nothing like this.
